2. How to Use TunePat Spotify Converter?

How to use TunePat to convert and download Spotify songs?

I use the free trial version of TunePat. It allows you to explore all the features of the paid version, but you can only download the first minute of each song.  This is not very friendly.

Here are the steps:

  • Launch the tool and choose the Spotify app

Launch the tool and choose Spotify app

  • Login to your account and select a song or playlist to download. Click the add button, then it will analyze the playlists > Convert to begin the download. You can see the process of downloading.

As you can see, downloading this 4-minute song from the playlist takes about 10 to 15 seconds. (In fact, it only downloaded the first minute of the song.)

I don't think this speed lives up to the advertised claims. For users who need to download thousands of songs, this difference is significant.

  • Once it finished, you can go to History, click the file icon, and see the metadata info.

The song I download is 256 kbps:

How to choose the audio bitrate and other quality settings on TunePat?

You can change bitrate and quality settings in the TunePat, but the menu can look different depending on the source(App vs Web Player).

Go to Settings > Music to adjust output format, bit rate, sample rate, and output folder. If you don't see bitrate options, switch the conversion source and check again.

3. My Experiences of Using TunePat

I use the same system and device when comparing music converters. Compared to the TuneFab Spotify Music Converter I reviewed, Tunepat features a cleaner interface, smoother workflow, and is easier to get started with.

Speed was okay for a single track but felt less efficient for large batches, especially when using record-based modes. Since the free trial only converts the first minute of each song,  I can't verify the full-length quality or how it handles hour-long podcasts or mixes.

How fast is TunePat Spotify Converter in real use?

FYI, using the intelligent mode, downloading a playlist with a total duration of three and a half hours and containing 56 songs is estimated to take 21 minutes.

7. TunePat vs MusicFab: Meet TunePat Best Alternative

TunePat is fine for light use and smaller batches. If you want steadier speed after Spotify updates, a friendlier trial, consistent high performance, a superior audio quality choice, and broader modern formats, MusicFab Spotify Converter is the better long-term pick.

The biggest difference between MusicFab and Tunepat is that MusicFab saves music locally through downloads, which makes it faster and safer than Tunepat using records.
